Memorial Day in Dixie!

Memorial Day weekend we decided to get the heck out of the rain and cold and escape to the sun down in... ya you guessed it St.George it is the best place to escape to close, warm and so many fun traditions we do as a family down there WHY NOT!! Anywho we stopped in first to 2 Fat Guys Pizza our favorite to kick the weekend off and man it was sooooo good as always I really love that place!! Ahh I want to go there right now! We visited with the owners our favorite people and then we were off to the town square for movie night in the park they played "Despicable Me" and we had such a great night outdoors without the cold and rain, they played music and had a little dance party which Hadley stole the show and was shaking her little booty all night everyone around us was laughing at her. It was all good till Hadley found a cookie on the ground that looked like it had been on the ground umm since 2008 and wanted to give it a taste. We literally could not get it out of her little hands and a lovely scream fest followed all the way across town and 20 minutes after arriving home. I kinda wished we would have just let her eat it and saved ourselves the meltdown ha ha

The next day we woke ate a delicious pancake breakfast and headed over to the water for a nice cool water morning. Hadley was in heaven again and enjoyed every minute until she started getting sleepy and ready for her nap she started to kinda be the little boss and would tap kids on the shoulders to move out of her way as she walked in the water so yeah needless to say one easy tempered kid really loved this and politely asked her to stop umm no he shoved her so hard I thought she was going to hit her face and we would end up in the E.R. she fell over another kid that is how hard of a push it was but anyway that is kids for ya and another cry fest followed us all the way home. Later that night after a much needed nap we cleaned ourselves up and were invited over to the "Walkers" (our friends down there and Chris's mission comp) for a yummy BBQ with all of our other St. George Buddies. It was such a great time and you always leave with a belly ache from all the laughing that goes on with all of them.. They are such fun people!

Sunday was our day of rest literally we kinda stayed in it got really cold and windy but we were still able to go for a nice walk and play around the house. Monday we headed home and met up with Grandma, Grandpa and aunt Bri for a nice dinner and a few visits to our family graves. Then we headed home to the Heb and mowed the lawn and relaxed some more. We loved our mini vacation and had a lot of fun in the sun together!
